During my time at Tory Burch, we partnered with SmartGift technology to deliver a unique giving experience to our customers. I was in charge of designing the entire customer flow from selecting a gift, to creating the email sequence, to checkout and payment.
Gift commerce is a huge untapped opportunity for retail and SmartGift is leading the category. SmartGift removes the inherent uncertainty when buying for others by including recipients in the decision making process.
Step 1: The giver selecting and sending the perfect gift.
Step 2: The recipient opening the gift and accepting it or choosing a similar item.
